Every day thousands of people are faced with the task of returning their vehicle because their lease is up. Prior to this step, we try to clean up our vehicle to make it look as good as new; like the day we drove it off the lot.

In most cases, the dealer will allow a certain amount of wear and tear to the vehicle. This might include a few minor dents and wear to the interior seats and carpet. Usually, these costs are extremely high. The dealer will inspect the vehicle to see if there is damage such as a ripped headliner, cracked bumper, ripped or torn leather seats, scuffed or scraped rims, holes in carpet, dents to the exterior body, pitted paint, damaged dash, torn armrest, damaged door, bald tires, etc.
When the time comes to turn the vehicle in, you hope they don’t notice any of these damages that were just mentioned. Unfortunately, they usually spot these damages and you are left with an additional cost.

Let me give an example. Let’s say you were moving a large item into your vehicle’s back seat that really should be in the back of a pick-up truck. In the process, you damage the door panel with a cut or slice to the vinyl, cloth or plastic. A new door panel can cost -depending on the make of the vehicle - upwards of $400.00. However, we can repair that same panel for approximately $95.00.
